As far as I'm concerned, it is pretty difficult to get too much green in your life! Specifically, green veggies. Vegetables have descended in our diet to the bottom of thee list for many people. The lack of vegetables and fruits can contribute to a host of health disorders and disease. When we eat a plant forward diet, our bodies just simply function the way they are supposed to. As Dr. Mark Hyman suggests, our goal should be to fill 75% of our plate with plant food first (vegetables and fruits). Non-starchy vegetables and green leafy vegetables should take center stage.

Today, I'm sharing my favorite way to prepare fresh green beans. Check it out and try it out. I love using Kinder's "The Blend" Seasoning. It is easy, flavorful and organic. Let me know what you think. I love eating this as a leftover the next day for lunch or even breakfast too!
